Education sector procurement framework, Think IT, has today announced further enhancements to its team, by working with Christine Ryan, former Chief Inspector and CEO of the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) and Jonah Grunsell, former strategic advisor to one of the largest academy chains in the UK and former head of the ISI Consultancy.
Recognising the importance of schools using reliable procurement frameworks, Ryan and Grunsell started collaborating with Think IT with the main objective of informing the 1,250 plus independent primary and secondary schools, on the important benefits that these frameworks can provide.
Ryan said, “In the face of increased competition and enhanced expectations amongst pupils and parents, it is critical that independent schools continue to offer the best possible education. Jonah and I understood the importance of the work Think IT was doing and wanted to see independent schools benefit from best practice guidance and the support frameworks provide when it comes to investing in edtech. By engaging with companies such as Think IT schools can put in place the vital enablers that actively support and improve teaching and learning outcomes.”
Think IT is an EU approved, education sector focused, IT framework which guarantees schools will be offered the best pricing on all edtech services. It also ensures that independent schools receive implementation support that is tailored to their specific and very individual needs.
Neil Watkins, managing director of Think IT explained: “Our framework is there to make investing in edtech easier and more cost-effective for schools. By bringing in Christine and Jonah’s expertise from their years of working in the independent sector, will help independent schools gain the advice they need and also helps us to ensure we’re always adhering to the necessary regulations that keep schools compliant."
